When I began my puppy search, I was thrilled when I discovered Broken C Mini Aussies. It didn’t take long to become highly impressed with Katie and the love & care provided at Broken C. Broken C really stood out to me as a breeder that was doing things the right way. I love that they raise the puppies in their home and begin socializing and introducing their pups to a variety of different things early on to help the puppies adjust to their fur-ever families. Upon our first visit, we noticed right away how calm and friendly all of the adult dogs & puppies were. Even mamma Hazel, when nursing pups were handed to us to hold. Of course we immediately fell in love with a sweet little black tri female known then as Tink. She was only 23 days old when we met her!! During the wait for Tink to be old enough to leave her mamma, Katie was absolutely wonderful. From patiently answering my million and one questions, to all of the fantastic pictures and videos she posted. We felt so involved and a part of Tink’s life already. When April 12, 2018 finally came, we were again impressed by Katie in the way she helped Tink transition to her new home. Tink is now our sweet Maddie and we could not be happier with our new addition to the family. She adjusted so quickly to our home and amazes us every day at how smart she is. And not only does she love everyone she meets, they all fall in love with her too! People have told me repeatedly how impressed they are with Maddie’s temperament, personality & how quickly she learns things. They have also expressed that they are so impressed to hear about the great start Katie gives the puppies and the effort she puts into making sure the pup & family are a good match.

I made Ava part of my home and my family on May 23, 2017. Katie was absolutely terrific throughout the entire process. She provided pictures, videos, developmental, and personality updates right up to the day I picked Ava up. I can’t say enough good things about Ava. She is extremely smart and active. Her markings and gorgeous blue eyes consistently greet me every morning. She has been an amazing companion for my many hiking and camping adventures. Highly social with people and other dogs. ArtwoMy family and I purchased our puppy from Broken C Minis 18 months ago and we highly recommend them if you are considering a mini aussie. From the beginning they were very helpful and communicative. Sending photos and video while we waited to bring our puppy home. Artwo was the perfect fit from day one. Healthy and well adjusted. We got him as a companion for our then 2 year old son. Since then, they have been inseparable! He was easy to housetrain, is very social, and in spite of still being in tact has a mellow, submissive personality. He has never had a single health issue, and has traveled over 1800 miles with us. He is well behaved and has lived in an apartment, as well as a 26 acre farm with horses, goats, and ducks. I can't say enough about how happy we are with him. Thank you so much Broken C Minis!

Zena~We had a good feeling right off the bat with Katie and her family. She is a very dedicated and loving breeder to these pups, and we believe they are very well cared for and have a healthy and happy start in life. She let us visit the puppies multiple times before they were ready so we could get a good feel for which one we wanted. She also send a variety of photos and videos which we really appreciated since we don't live in the area. She was very easy to communicate and it was clear to see she wanted these puppies to go to good homes. We ended up getting a tricolor blue eyed female and we absolutely adore her. We would highly recommend getting a puppy form Broken C Mini Aussies!!

Adeline ~We bought our Mini Australian shepherd "Adeline" from Katie in 2015. We answered an ad and came to look at the puppies when they were about 2 weeks old. We drove up to the house and the parents came out to greet us. We were very impressed with their calm dispositions. We chose our puppy and gave her a deposit. She was very professional and it was an easy process. She invited us to come over several times to visit our new puppy until she was 8 weeks old and able to be weaned. I would buy another puppy from Katie.

Broken C mini Aussies have more then exceeded my expectations for finding our new family member! We have gotten a very smart puppy and in two weeks time asks to go out, sits, lay down, roll over, and go to bed all on command. Katherine sent pictures often kept us up to date on milestones and helped time fly while we were waiting for him to be old enough to come home. Excellent experience!
